DOGS At PENTRE Bach

Meet Nyx our German Pointer!

Although we've only owned a dog for the last 3 years, we've always welcomed dogs to Pentre Bach. We do ask that owners are happy to abide by a few common sense guidelines such as not leaving dogs alone in the cottages or in the gardens and being diligent about picking up any poo!

We are lucky to have a large field where owners can exercise their dogs without fear of them escaping. Y Popty cottage also has the benefit of an enclosed garden.
The local beaches are all either dog friendly or have designated areas where dogs are allowed. There is a particularly long, wide stretch of beach between Tywyn and Aberdyfi, which Nyx loves, that goes on for miles! The Mawddach Trail is another excellent dog-walking path. Just watch out for cyclists and the very tempting (at least to dogs!) muddy ponds at either side of the trail. When local restrictions allow pubs to open, most landlords welcome dogs (and their owners!) to the bar areas.

We are happy to accept two dogs per cottage but make a charge of £20 per dog per visit.

Do talk to us if you would like to bring any other pets. We have had guests bringing house trained cats and even a tortoise in the past!

Fabulous Group Holiday Home

I booked Pentre Bach in December for a get away with friends to celebrate my fiance's 30th birthday, and I cannot begin to describe how perfect it was! The house is well appointed and beautiful, with more than enough space and seating for a larger group than us, as well as lovely thoughtful touches left by the owners...
