Elegant and full of character, Pentre Bach and its three smaller cottages are situated where the mountains meet the sea in a corner of undiscovered southern Snowdonia. The four self-catering cottages are set in three acres of land, overlooking Cardigan Bay, with dramatic Cader Idris and its fellow mountains virtually outside the back door.
Located between the seaside towns of Barmouth and Aberdovey, on the edge of the pretty village of Llwyngwril, Pentre Bach Holiday Cottages are ideally placed to explore the delights of this stunning yet unspoiled area of north-west Wales.

With our six-bedroom house and three cottages, we are able to offer flexible accommodation to meet our guests’ needs, sleeping between 1 and 32. Enjoy a romantic break for 2 in our smallest cottage or book all four properties to host a family reunion or celebrate a ‘special’ birthday.
Whether you enjoy adventurous activities such as Go Ape, mountain biking, hiking, surfing or gorge walking, or prefer to indulge in more sedate pastimes such as golf, fishing, pony trekking, bird-watching or sailing, all are only a short drive away from Pentre Bach.
Or why not stay put and make the most of our facilities by relaxing on one of our four patios, gazing out to sea, trying to catch a glimpse of passing dolphins, while enjoying a glass of wine? The more active might prefer to fly a kite, play rounders or hide and seek in our spacious grounds. There’s a willow den and tyre swings for children and a table tennis room for all ages.
The nearest beach, just 10 minutes walk away, is generally pebbly but there are excellent sandy beaches just a short drive away in either direction.
